My 'KarnaVedha'

Today I got my 'Karnavedha' done from a professional doctor. For those who don't know meaning of this Sanskrit word, here is a simple definition. 'Karnavedha' is one of the Samskaras (sacraments) performed for a child. It is an ear piercing ceremony that occurs at early age for children. Although it was painful initially, it was OK after few minutes. I initially felt that this doctor visit will also be similar to last time but it was not that bad. Dr uncle was very friendly & he tried to comfort me most of the time during the 'act'.
As usual Mom was too scared to be in the room with me. Thankfully Nanijaan was with me all the while! The thing about which I am most excited is that I will get to sport earings from now on. Nani has already got me my first pair of gold earings :) Yeppie.. I love you Nani..
Now I need to talk Dad into buying me a new pair soon.. Hmmm.. It seems I have some serious thinking to do.. bbye..

Say "Hello" to doctor uncle

Today Mom took me to doctor uncle saying we will say "Hello" to him and his assistant nurse & when I am busy checking out his cabin, he puts a needle inside me. Can you believe that?
Thankfully Nani was with me to stop him after 2 dreadful injections. (They call it vaccination, but I totally hated it!). And all this while, my dear Mother was outside cabin hearing me cry for mercy & doing nothing. I need to have a chat with her about this later sometime.. huh...
Worse thing is - Later after coming back home, I heard Mom talking to Dad on phone about our "Hello" saying session with doctor. From her facial expressions & intermediate affirmative nods, I figured that they were planning this for a long time! Now I need to be concerned about such plannings that go behind my back. Hopefully there are no more needles in future.
Anyways, now I know what it means when Mom tells me that we are going to meet & say "Hello" to doctor uncle.
Lessons learnt out of pain..!! (sigh..)

Hi There..

Hey everyone... This is my first post.. I am so excited, where to begin, what all to say..

Firstly it's all dark in here but very cozy. I get this wet feeling all the time. The warmth is comforting though. Best thing is that I get fed whenever i feel like! Isn't that awesome? thanks to my Mom. I hear she is taking lot of care about what she eats & drinks these days.

I go to office everyday with Mom. While she works at her desk, I take naps & enjoy the 5 star hospitality of her womb. I also get to hear snippets of conversations once in a while. I can totally recognize Dad when he speaks to me!

Well, enough for the day.. I need a nap now. dozing off. Peace!
